OUTREACH Prayer Update August 1, 2007

Our church planters depend on the prayers and encouragement of God’s people. OUTREACH NORTH AMERICA provides this monthly prayer letter to inform you of some of their specific needs and praises so you will know better how to pray for them. Thank you for your prayers and the interest you show by your phone and e-mail responses. Your prayers truly encourage your church planters. (See the bottom of this update for a summary of all the mission churches included in this update.)

Pray for the mission churches as they follow up on summer outreach activities.
Pray for all our churches to have a heart for evangelism.

For our efforts to gather a crowd for worship on Easter Sunday. We passed out 1,500 door hangers last week, and so far we have three families who want to talk with us. Pray that we clearly communicate to them, and pray that they will have a desire to come and serve alongside us. We will pass out another 1,500 to 2,500 door hangers prior to Easter.
Finally, for Serena Mitchell, who wants to lead our nursery and children’s ministry. She moved to Atlanta from Tennessee and this has been her ministry for the past five years in her home church. We hope to design that particular ministry before our Easter launch.
