Church Planter Internship
Most of the candidates approved by the CPAC will be either required or requested to do a one year church planter internship to further develop their church planting competencies.
Ordained Church Planter Intern
For CPAC approved candidates. Interns will be placed on the staff of a potential mother church, where the pastor commits to mentor the potential planter, with the goal of having the intern plant a daughter church. Maximum ONA funding of $36,000 for one year. The mentoring church and the overseeing presbytery are also expected to provide support.
Church Planter Intern
Same as Ordained Internship, but for licentiates who have not yet been ordained. Licentiates must be CPAC approved candidates. Maximum ONA funding of $36,000 for one year. The mentoring church and the overseeing presbytery are also expected to provide support.
Full-Time Student Intern
For interns with skills that can help a church planter immediately in a newly developing church plant. The goal is to help the church planter and to create a heart for church planting in the intern. These interns do not necessarily need to be potential church planters, and do not have to be assessed by CPAC. Maximum ONA funding of $24,000 for one year. The intern and the mission need to raise any additional support needed from other sources.
Part-time Student Intern
Same as full-time, but for students who continue to go to school, or who are working part-time at another job during the internship. Maximum ONA funding of $12,000 for one year. The intern and the mission need to raise any additional support needed from other sources.
