Church Planting

Our denomination has always realized that the great commission to spread the Gospel depends first and primarily on a strong body of local believers.

The Board of Outreach North America helps plant and support mission congregations around the country which in turn establish churches in small and large towns alike. These new churches grow and evangelize in their communities, and in cooperation with other congregations, support the total denominational outreach. Grants for land and buildings are often given to these new individual, developing congregations to help them in their primary growth years.

Our missions are planted with the purpose of reaching people who have little or no ties to established churches, which creates an exciting spiritual dynamic. We have seen many life-changing conversions in our missions! After a mission congregation grows and matures, develops strong leaders and becomes self-supporting, it becomes an established church

Training programs and seminars are continually made available for pastors and laymen to assure the most effective evangelism method for each community. About 82% of denominational churches at one time or another have been supported with money and direction through the ministry of Outreach North America. During the years ahead our goal is to continue to explore every avenue of ministry to a needy world, a world that begins in every hometown local assembly.
