First ARP is implementing Christianity Explored as part of their small groups ministry. To expose people to the material so they can help lead and/or invite people to the course, the church has provided three opportunities for people in the church to experience the Christianity Explored study.

• Associate Pastor Mark Tankersley taught the course to 20 people over a 12-week period last fall as part of the church’s Life Studies Institute.
• First ARP co-sponsored (with ONA) a two-night Christianity Explored training conference in May.
• This summer an adult Sunday School class is studying Christianity Explored.

The next step for First ARP is to start two small group studies this fall that will invite people from the community. One will meet on Wednesday nights as part of the church’s Wednesday night elective program and one will meet on Sunday nights as part of their Sunday night small groups.
